Frequently Asked Questions

Do you handle complete interior renovation?

Yes. AFG handles interior renovation and remodeling projects, including kitchens, bathrooms, and broader interior updates. We review the scope, site conditions, and coordination requirements before confirming the work included in your proposal.

How long does a kitchen or bathroom renovation take?

The timeline depends on the scope of work, site conditions, material availability, and any required approvals. After reviewing your project, we provide an estimated schedule covering preparation, construction, installation, and final finishing.

Do you offer custom cabinetry and millwork separately?

Yes. You can work with AFG on custom cabinetry or architectural millwork without a full renovation. We confirm the materials, finishes, dimensions, and whether your project includes fabrication, delivery, and installation in your proposal

Can you work with my architect, designer, or general contractor?

Yes. We collaborate with homeowners, architects, interior designers, and general contractors to review drawings, confirm materials and finishes, and coordinate our scope of work with the overall project.

Can you match excysting cabinetry, finish, or style?

Yes. We assess your existing cabinetry, wood species, door profiles, and finishes to find the closest practical match. Because materials and finishes change with age, an exact match may not always be possible. We review suitable options and samples with you before proceeding.

What happens after I request a consultation?

We contact you to discuss your project, location, goals, and preferred timing. We may ask for photos, drawings, or approximate measurements, then arrange a site visit if needed. Once the scope and materials are clarified, we prepare a written proposal outlining the work and pricing.

How much will my renovation or custom cabinetry project cost?

Pricing depends on the scope, dimensions, site conditions, materials, finishes, and installation requirements. After reviewing your project, we provide a written proposal detailing the included work and pricing. Any changes to the agreed scope are reviewed and priced before the additional work begins.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. AFG Custom Cabinetry LLC is licensed and insured. Certificates of insurance are available upon request.

Do you work in co-op and condo buildings?

Yes. We coordinate our work with building management requirements, including access, permitted working hours, delivery arrangements, and protection of common areas. Before scheduling, we review the building’s alteration requirements and any required approvals. Certificates of insurance can be provided upon request.

Do you take on both small and large projects?

Yes. We work on projects of all sizes, from small interior improvements and individual custom cabinets to complete kitchen and bathroom remodels, full interior renovations, and large commercial projects.

Can you help me choose materials and finishes?

Yes. We help you compare materials, colors, hardware, and finishes based on your style, budget, and how the space will be used. We review available samples and explain practical considerations such as durability, maintenance, and lead times before you make your selections.

How do I get started with AFG?

Contact us through our website, email, or phone with your project location and a brief description of the work. Photos, drawings, or inspiration images are helpful if available. We’ll discuss your goals and the next steps for a consultation and proposal.
